On September 6th & 7th, Guam Elite Basketball proudly presents the 2025 Legends Meet the Future Camp & Classic — a unique opportunity for young athletes across our island to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and learn from some of the best in the game.
This year’s camp will feature guest coaches with extensive professional playing and coaching experience from leagues across the U.S. and Asia. These accomplished athletes and mentors are passionate about helping young players reach their potential, sharing valuable insights on the fundamentals of the game, teamwork, and leadership both on and off the court.
Open to boys and girls ages 6–14, the camp offers dynamic, hands-on training sessions focused on skill development, basketball IQ, and character-building. Participants will benefit from high-level coaching, engaging drills, and exciting scrimmages designed to motivate and inspire.
The Legends Meet the Future Classic rounds out the event, celebrating the connection between today’s young players and the professionals who have paved the way. It’s more than just a camp — it’s an unforgettable experience that helps shape future leaders through the sport we love.
Expert Coaches & Skills Training
Our camp will feature a lineup of guest coaches with impressive athletic and teaching experience. These instructors will provide top-notch training using proven, modern techniques – helping each camper improve speed, strength, agility and sport-specific skills . In small-group clinics, coaches focus on fundamentals and advanced drills such as shooting, passing, dribbling and footwork, guiding campers step-by-step to build confidence and technique . They also lead team-based activities and conditioning sessions to reinforce game strategy, teamwork and endurance in a supportive, energetic environment.
Key training sessions include:
- Sports Fundamentals: Focused skill clinics on the basics (shooting, passing, dribbling, etc.) that improve technique and consistency .
- Performance & Fitness: Agility ladders, plyometric drills and strength exercises to boost speed, coordination and overall athleticism .
- Team Strategy & Play: Small-sided scrimmages and scenario-based drills that sharpen game understanding, communication and sportsmanship in realistic play.

This camp isn’t just a one-week event—it’s a full development experience. In the week leading up to the coaches’ arrival on island, registered campers will have access to our STEM in Sports as we blend basketball with learning and critical thinking designed to prepare athletes mentally and physically, laying the foundation to help each camper reach their full potential. Once our guest coaches touch down, the energy shifts into high gear with live drills, team challenges, and hands-on guidance. From the first session to the final buzzer on camp week, this is a game-changing opportunity for Guam’s youth to train, grow, and shine.
